Description:
Patients will be cared for in a designated area or possibly the hallway while waiting for bed availability.
If there are no patients being boarded, nurses may be utilized in an acute care area, though this is expected to be rare.
Nurses will be required to work every other weekend and some holidays during the assignment.
First-time travelers will be considered based on previous experience.
Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs.
Block schedule accommodations will be considered if necessary.
Travelers must comply with all facility requirements and expect to work some holidays.
Virtual orientation and training may be required to familiarize staff with the facility's protocols.
