Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Department (ED) care for a travel assignment in Macon, Georgia. This opportunity at a Level 1 Trauma Designated Teaching Hospital offers you the chance to work within a high-paced and dynamic environment, attending to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ED
  • Provide high-level nursing care to patients experiencing trauma and emergency health issues.
  • Utilize drips including Heparin, Insulin, Cardene, Dopamine, Epinephrine, Fentanyl, Propofol, Levophed.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including CNAs, unit secretaries, and telemonitoring techs.
  • Participate in patient transport and emergency response as required.
  • Adhere to departmental procedures and safety protocols at all times.

Requirements of the RN - ED
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS certifications required.
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting.
  • Proficient in EPIC EMR system with at least 6 months of experience.
  • Ability to pass an EKG competency exam.
