Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years ED RN experience License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI required; TNCC preferred Description: Nursing position available in the Emergency Department. Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse. Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of ED RN experience. The shift is a 12-hour night shift, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Patient ratios are 1:4-5, depending on acuity. Patient demographics include pediatric and adult patients with common diagnoses such as COPD, CHF, chest pain, MI, N-STEMI, stroke, TIA, new onset cardiac arrhythmia, uncontrolled diabetes, and minor trauma. General ED skill set is required, including cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with critical care drips, ventilator management, chest tubes, PIV starts, TNK/TPA administration, conscious sedation, and ESI assessments. Registered Nurses will be expected to float to accommodate regional needs, which may include various facilities. Travelers will be required to work 75% of holidays and participate in a weekend rotation every other week. Scrub color is navy. Ideal candidates should have strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical care to diverse patient populations in an emergency setting.
