Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital ED RN experience License: Valid RN license Certifications: BLS ACLS NIH PALS TNCC Must-Have: Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital ED RN experience Experience in traveling or experience at large facility areas Description: We are seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The unit has 52 beds and is staffed with a team including charge nurses, staff nurses, techs, unit clerks, physicians, and midlevel providers. The average patient ratio is 3:1, with a low acuity ratio of 5:1, and team nursing for pediatric patients. Key equipment used in the unit includes Alaris, and the EMR system is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and care for pediatric patients. Ideal candidates must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We value diverse backgrounds and expect all staff to adapt quickly to our dynamic setting. Experience in larger facilities and familiarity with Meditech will be prioritized during the selection process. Candidates should be prepared to maintain compliance with scanning protocols for patient medications.
