Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC Must-Have: Candidates must be able to care for critically ill patients. Emergency department nursing experience is required. Description: The unit has a total of 8 beds. There are 6 staff members on duty daily. Staffing includes 2 registered nurses and 1 emergency medical technician during the day shift and 2 registered nurses during the night shift. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 4:1. Typical procedures performed include care for high and low acuity emergency department patients, medication administration, and lab work. Candidates should be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Work schedule includes 4 weekend shifts per schedule.
