The hospital is recognized for providing the highest clinical quality year after year. It has achieved significant accolades for safety and patient care. The emergency department is the region’s referral center, with a large volume of patient visits. Staffing includes available technicians and unit clerks, both days and nights. Patient ratios are typically 4:1 and can go up to 7:1 on behavioral holds. The department employs advanced technology and a variety of medical equipment. Documentation is done through an electronic system. Candidates are expected to work every other weekend.
