The unit has 14 beds and approximately 48 staff members, including charge RNs and multiple RNs on different shifts. Patient ratios are 1:3-4. Equipment used includes EMR Meditech and CPN. Typical procedures performed on the unit include central line insertion, chest tube placement, thoracic lavage, and intubations. Candidates without the required certifications and skills will not be considered for the role. Experience with travel RN assignments is preferred. The best candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills with both staff and providers.
