Job Details

  • Location: Salt Lake City
  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks
  • Shift: Night Shift
  • Schedule: 3x12
  • Experience Required: 2 Years
  • Weekly Pay: $1700 to $1890
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies
  • Perform rapid assessments, triage patients, and prioritize care based on acuity levels
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status
  • Assist with trauma cases, resuscitations, and emergency procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and quality care standards
Requirements
  • Active RN License in Utah
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • ACLS Certification required
  • PALS Certification preferred
  • TNCC certification preferred
  • Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency environment
