Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department License: Active RN License in Texas (temporary license not accepted) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Must-Have: - Active Texas RN license - 2 years of Emergency Department experience - BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications Description: Exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients in critical situations. Responsibilities include stabilizing patients with acute medical issues such as chest pain, strokes, and trauma. The Emergency Department features 15 treatment rooms, including trauma/cardiac care rooms and observation beds. Your role will support rapid evaluation and treatment, particularly in emergency cardiac cases. The staff is committed to compassionate care for a variety of medical emergencies. You will be using several diagnostic resources, including imaging and telemetry equipment. Additionally, the position may require floating to different areas as needed. The dress code includes navy scrubs and guidelines for personal appearance. All candidates must exhibit professionalism and a commitment to patient care.
