Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of ER experience License: Active TX RN License only Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Must-Have: Candidates must have the required certifications. Candidates without the essential skills will not be considered for the role. Description: The Emergency Department is a freestanding facility providing 24/7 emergency care. We serve the community by treating various acute medical conditions. Common complaints include chest pain, shortness of breath, and abdominal pain. The team is equipped to handle critical situations such as cardiac arrest and strokes. Accepted patients will undergo rapid evaluation and treatment in urgent cases. The department has 15 treatment rooms, including trauma and fast-track rooms. Key services offered include radiology, laboratory, and telemetry. Patients requiring advanced care are transported to a local hospital. The facility aims to provide immediate intervention for serious emergencies. Documentation is maintained through an electronic system. Floating may be required within the facility as needed. Scrub color is navy for both tops and pants; jackets can be navy or white.
