Description:
Position available for an EP Lab RN.
The role involves working day shifts from 07:00 to 17:30, but flexibility is required as shifts may extend until procedures are complete.
This position does not require on-call or weekend work.
Travelers will not float between service lines.
Required experience includes a minimum of three years in the EP Lab.
First-time travelers are accepted.
A radiation badge must be provided by the agency, as this facility does not supply them.
Special requirements include experience in Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Cardioversion, Circulation of Procedures, and Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias.
The ability to monitor procedural sedation and obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG is essential.
The facility is allowed to call off one shift per two weeks, and called off hours can be aggregated to count as one shift.
Candidates must be prepared to engage in emergency response activities during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
All required labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing if within 90 days of the start date.
Candidates must have one year of separation from the previous staff before returning as travelers.
