Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,415 per week

Magnet Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Olathe, Kansas.

Job Description & Requirements

Shift: 12-hour Evening/Night shifts (3:00 PM – 3:30 AM), 3 shifts per week

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last 12 months.

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years of ED experience.
• Seeking self-motivated, team-oriented RNs who are comfortable caring for inpatient boarders, adapt well to fast-paced environments, and maintain a positive attitude.

Licensure & Certifications

Required:

• Kansas RN License or Multi-State Compact RN License
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Conscious Sedation Competency

Preferred:

• TNCC

Scheduling Requirements

• Floating: No floating outside of the Emergency Department. Will care for inpatient boarders as needed.
• Weekends: Up to 3 weekend shifts (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) per pay period.
• On-Call: None.
• Holidays: Required based on unit needs.

Unit Information

• 29-bed Emergency Department
• Serves the southern half of Johnson County.
• Certified Chest Pain Center and Primary Stroke Center.
• Approximately 120 patient visits per day.

Additional Information

• Timekeeping system: UKG
• Facility is nicotine-free
• Client may cancel one shift per 2-week pay period at no cost to the client and without pay to the traveler.
