Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in the practicing state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to perform independent nursing assessments, planning, and evaluation
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in performing health teaching and counseling
- Knowledge of medical and nursing procedures relevant to emergency care
- Excellent documentation practices in compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
- ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care nursing
- Additional certifications relevant to emergency services
- Experience with team collaboration in fast-paced environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required, Bachelor’s preferred)
- Previous RN experience, especially within emergency or acute care settings
Other Requirements:
- Ability to float within scope of competency across different departments if needed
- Flexibility to be on-call during scheduled shifts if required
- Physical ability to perform emergency procedures and lift/move patients as necessary
