Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts in a fast-paced ER nursing environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable caring for a diverse patient population in a community-focused setting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions in the Emergency Department
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to protocols and provider orders
• Stabilize patients and assist with emergency procedures as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document care accurately and maintain a high standard of patient safety
• Support a compassionate and efficient care experience for patients and families
