Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) care is needed in North Dakota. The position involves providing direct nursing care within the emergency department, ensuring patient safety, and coordinating care across multidisciplinary teams. This 13-week assignment requires maintaining clinical skills and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Shift: 12 hours, rotating days/nights/mid-shift schedule. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC). Education requirements include valid licensure as a Registered Nurse from the North Dakota Board of Nursing or a Compact State Agreement. Prior work experience of at least 3 years is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency department nursing, strong assessment and emergency response skills, ability to work in a high-pressure setting.
- Additional Information: The RN will perform comprehensive patient assessments, initiate emergency interventions, facilitate discharge planning, and document all care activities according to organizational policies. The assignment begins on 08/24/2026, and no float rotation is required.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must have all certifications completed prior to the start date and be licensed in North Dakota or a Compact State.
