Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse West Bloomfield, Michigan. This position involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care within the emergency department. The role requires utilizing the nursing processassessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationto deliver, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and teaching for patients and their families. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing, graduation from an accredited school of nursing. The position requires a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an emergency room or similar setting, with a valid Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification and additional relevant experience are preferred.
  • Skills: Strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to develop effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services, with effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
  • Additional Information: This is a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extension. The hiring manager will conduct a phone interview. No on-call duties are required.
