Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse Hartford, WI. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care in a high-acuity emergency department setting. The RN will utilize evidence-based practices, clinical decision-making, and effective communication to ensure patient safety and deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Evenings shift with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA), ACLS certification, PALS certification, TNCC certification, completion of an accredited nursing program, and a minimum of 0 years of experience in emergency nursing.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 2 or more years of ED-specific experience, trauma, stroke, pediatric, or cardiac care experience, and proficiency in triage, IV skills, EKG interpretation, intubations, chest tube management, and splinting.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information:
    This position requires working in a Level 4 Trauma Center and Acute Stroke Ready Center with Magnet designation, serving a diverse patient population including pediatrics to geriatrics. The ED handles general emergency patients, with transfers for admissions under age 16, acute STEMI transfers out, and acute CVA transfers. The unit is staffed with RN and CNA teams, with a focus on teamwork, safety, and clinical excellence. Orientation will include NEO modules and EPIC electronic medical record training. The facility provides on-site free parking and scrub attire in any professional color.
