Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Newton, Iowa. This position involves providing acute care in a fast-paced emergency environment. The ER nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in alignment with facility standards and procedures.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts from 07:00 PM to 07:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification, Iowa state nursing license, at least 1 year of Emergency Room experience, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification and experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center.
  • Additional Information: Facility notes indicate coverage from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with on-call responsibilities during weekends. No holidays are required for this schedule.
