  • Location: Reston, VA
  • Position Description: Travel Emergency Room (ER) RN with a minimum of 2 years of hospital experience required. Must hold an active compact license at submission. BLS certification is required; ACLS and PALS are preferred.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS; active compact license; at least 2 years of hospital ER experience; Virginia licensure or license eligible; flexibility to work nights.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in TNCC or ENPC are advantageous. Experience working with stroke, sepsis, and trauma protocols is highly desirable.
  • Additional Information: The ER unit has approximately 34-44 beds and sees around 78,000 visits annually. The patient ratio is approximately 1:4, and equipment includes EKG, Lucas device, cardiac monitors, Dynamap, and Point of Care Testing (POC) devices. The team supports procedures such as triage, IV initiation, moderate sedation, and trauma protocols. The ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, positive attitude, and a hardworking approach. The dress code is navy blue scrubs.
