Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Tyler, TX 75708
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (3×12), 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 hrs./week
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Texas or Compact, as required)
- Minimum 2–3 years of Emergency Room (ER) experience
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Experience with adult and pediatric emergency patients
- Strong triage, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response skills
Description:
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
- Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and emergency interventions.
- Administer medications, blood products, IV therapy, and monitor critically ill patients.
- Care for a wide variety of emergency conditions including trauma, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality emergency care.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic and ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.

- Travelers residing in the following Texas counties are not eligible for this assignment: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris.
