Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Tyler, TX 75708

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights (3×12), 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 hrs./week

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (Texas or Compact, as required)
  • Minimum 2–3 years of Emergency Room (ER) experience
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred
  • Previous charge nurse experience preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
  • Experience with adult and pediatric emergency patients
  • Strong triage, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response skills

Description:

  • Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
  • Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and emergency interventions.
  • Administer medications, blood products, IV therapy, and monitor critically ill patients.
  • Care for a wide variety of emergency conditions including trauma, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and medical emergencies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality emergency care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Epic and ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
