Duration: ~13 Weeks with possible extension
Schedule: Nights | 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM | 5 days/week (every other weekend & some holidays)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Nursing (IMC) to provide off-shift leadership coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This leadership role oversees clinical operations, staffing, quality, and patient care delivery across assigned units.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership & Patient Care
  • Oversee assessment, planning, and delivery of patient care
  • Ensure a safe, patient-centered, and culturally sensitive environment
  • Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to maintain care standards
Operational & Financial Management
  • Develop and manage staffing plans, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Monitor operational performance metrics, overtime, and agency usage
  • Ensure adequate unit coverage and efficiency
Quality & Compliance
  • Maintain compliance with CMS, IHI, CAP, and regulatory standards
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and performance programs
  • Utilize data and tracer methodologies to enhance care delivery
Staff Leadership & Development
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff
  • Support staff education, training, and professional development
  • Promote collaboration across interdisciplinary teams
Administrative Oversight
  • Lead unit planning and strategic initiatives
  • Analyze patient and staff satisfaction data to improve outcomes
  • Support recruitment, retention, and workforce engagement efforts
