Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Dialysis experience License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand Certifications: American Red Cross BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. Description: All requirements listed in the job description are non-negotiable, and no exceptions will be made. This position involves day shifts, either 3x12s or 4x10s with on-call rotation and every other weekend. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months recent Dialysis experience, specifically within a permanent position. Candidates must provide a permanent Ohio license in hand at the time of submission; compact licenses are accepted for starts after January 1, 2023. Two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required. Co-worker references will not be considered and will lead to profile rejection. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. Required certifications must be active with nothing pending. Nurses will receive training on the Fresenius machines used for in-center hemodialysis. The facility connects and disconnects patients from their peritoneal dialysis treatment. No CRRT therapy is provided in this setting. Candidates must complete ECG rhythm recognition tests and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Travelers may receive a maximum of two attempts to pass these assessments, or they will be canceled. Background checks of any kind may be reviewed, but candidates with open cases will not be accepted. Candidates cannot return to the facility for 1 year after their previous end date. This is a nicotine-free facility requirement, and candidates must comply accordingly. Candidates must complete BCI/FBI prints within 48 hours of signing the contract. Extensions for contracts may be available on a case-by-case basis.
