Job Title: Dialysis Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (08:30 - 20:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of inpatient Hemodialysis experience in a hospital setting. License: Active RN license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required (AHA only). Must-Have: Epic experience required. Description: Can start on specified dates in 2026. Day and evening shifts available, 12-hour shifts, 08:30 - 20:30. Every other weekend and holidays may be required. Weekday and weekend on-call responsibility may be assigned, not to exceed 3 on-call shifts per six weeks. Must have experience working with adult and pediatric patients. Responsibilities include administering hemodialysis treatments and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. Must pass Telemetry test prior to starting. The unit provides care for patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) and Acute Kidney Injury (AKI). Must possess skills in cannulating AV fistulas and grafts, as well as handling emergency situations such as cardiac arrest. Knowledge of CRRT, dialysis machines, and patient management is essential. Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team and provide one-on-one intensive care when needed. Experience with pediatric patients and trauma patients preferred. Travellers will float as required based on staffing needs. Must adhere to competency requirements including passing critical exams before starting.
