Travel Nurse RN - Dialysis - $2,200 to $2,300 per week in Rochester, NY

Contract Type: Travel | Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 11/03/2025 | Shift: 3x12s, Days (05:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays; occasional Sundays for holidays

• Primary Role: Charge Nurse/Team Leader – runs a 4-patient pod

• Duties: Stringing and setting up Fresenius dialysis machines; initiate and monitor dialysis; patient care and symptom management; respond to alarms and emergencies

• Float: Yes – to other Rochester dialysis locations

• Charting System: Epic (required)

• Equipment: Fresenius 20008T, Prismaflex (for CRRT*)

• Patient Setting: Outpatient & Chronic Dialysis preferred

• License: Active NY RN License (required, in hand to submit)

• Experience: 1+ year RN experience; charge/team lead experience required

• Certifications: AHA BLS (required)

• Skills Required:

  • Cannulation of AV fistula/graft

  • Dialysate conductivity testing

  • Tunneled/non-tunneled catheter management

  • Blood and blood product administration

  • Management of complications (e.g., air emboli, hypotension, hemolysis, etc.)

• EMR: Epic – mandatory
