Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Must be in hand prior to start date Certifications: BCLS Must-Have: - Plasma Exchange and Red Blood Cell Exchange experience - Ability to cannulate AV fistula - Ability to cannulate AV graft - Acute Care Inpatient Dialysis experience - Apheresis treatment experience - Blood prime and blood return experience - Chronic Outpatient Dialysis experience - Infection control knowledge - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Post Apheresis treatment experience - Red blood cell exchange experience - Therapeutic Plasma Exchange/Plasmapheresis experience - Knowledge of tunneled and non-tunneled catheters - Experience with Apheresis equipment or dialysis Description: The position requires a registered nurse with experience in dialysis and apheresis. Candidates must have minimum experience in related procedures and patient care settings. Rotating call responsibilities are part of the job requirements. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, interpretation services, social services, and pharmacy.
