Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Opportunity:

RN - CVOR

Job Details:

• 8-hour various day shifts, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours guaranteed per week
• On-call requirements include 1 overnight call and 1 backup call shift per week, 2-3 weekends, and 1 holiday rotation with possible additional call as needed
• 30-minute response time required when on call - must be ready in the OR
• A personal vehicle is required for this position due to the 30-minute response time
• Every 3rd-4th weekend and holiday rotation required
• 13-week contract
• Assigned 4-5 operating rooms per day across 21 ORs covering all specialties
• Strong OR/CVOR circulating experience required
• Minimum 3+ years of OR experience with anesthesia experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS, and valid WI RN License or compact RN license
• Proficiency with Epic, Cell Saver, and Belmont required
• Prior experience with conscious sedation preferred
• Required skills include assisting with intubations, fiber optic scopes during intubation, sterile techniques with central lines, arterial line placement, lumbar drains, Swan Ganz catheters, starting IVs, drawing labs, setting up medication pumps, and running Belmont, Cell Saver, and Level I
• Assist anesthesia providers with heart surgeries, traumas, elective surgeries, and general surgeries
• Main focus on the cardiothoracic program
• Must be flexible, hardworking, resilient, and able to manage change well
• Strong critical thinking skills and thorough knowledge of all OR cases required
• Willingness to perform downtime tasks as needed
• 2-week orientation process with training for additional anesthesia skills as needed
• Scrub colors provided
