Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiac and Operating Room (OR OH) at a healthcare facility in Greenville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery patients in a busy surgical environment. The position requires collaboration within a team to ensure safe and effective patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts (0700 - 1700 or 0900 - 1900), with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid NC or Compact State nursing license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification, 3 years of clinical experience in Operating Room and Open Heart procedures, and comprehensive knowledge of cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with specialized surgical procedures such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), left ventricular assist device (LVAD) placement, robotic surgeries, and working within a 80-mile radius of Greenville, North Carolina.
- Additional Information: The role involves circulating and scrub responsibilities within an OR setting that includes seven CVOR suites. Staff will circulate beds, manage surgical instruments and supplies, and support perioperative patient care in a fast-paced cardiac surgical environment. Call and weekend shifts are required.
