Shift: Day/Night | 3x12 Hours
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care for critically ill cardiovascular patients in a fast-paced intensive care setting. The ideal candidate will have recent CVICU experience caring for fresh open-heart patients and be proficient with advanced cardiac monitoring and critical care equipment.
Schedule
- Shift: 3x12 Hours
- Block scheduling not available
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required, as applicable
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of current CVICU experience
- Candidates with SICU experience may be considered if they received initial training in a CVICU
- First-time travelers accepted

- Valve Repair/Replacement
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
Required Hemodynamic Monitoring & Cardiac Skills
- Pulmonary Artery Line (Swan Ganz) Monitoring
- FloTrac/Vigileo Monitoring
- Temporary Pacemakers
- Arterial Line (A-Line) Management
- Chest Tube Management
- Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias
- Obtain and Interpret 12-Lead ECG/EKG
- Titrate Cardiac Drips

Required Equipment Experience

- Impella
- Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
- CRRT using Prismax
- OR documented experience caring for fresh open-heart cases

Floating
