Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular RN in Charleston, South Carolina. This position involves providing specialized care for ICU patients, including those on ventilators and with cardiovascular conditions, in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment and technology, with a focus on patient safety and high-quality care.

- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 08/10/2026
- Required Qualifications: Active BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certifications; 36 months RN experience, with at least one year in an ICU setting; prior experience with Meditech documentation system; ability to care for up to 1-3 ICU patients, including ventilated patients; proficient in reading telemetry strips; neuro ICU or cardiovascular ICU experience preferred; proficiency with advanced hemodynamics, CRRT, and neuro procedures such as EVDs, bolts, and induced hypothermia; BSN degree and advanced certifications preferred; TNCC certification preferred.
- Additional Information:
- Unit specific policies and guidelines will be provided.
- Bedside shift report is the standard method of patient hand-off.
- Floating policy requires travelers to be prepared to work in the emergency department or other unit areas as needed.
- New equipment and technology available, and staff with extensive tenure and experience.
- Willing to train travelers interested in becoming skilled Neuro ICU or Cardiovascular ICU nurses, including training on head and neck flap care.
