Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Hickory, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) within a facility that features advanced equipment and patient populations including adult and geriatric patients. The position is scheduled for night shifts starting August 17, 2026, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours guaranteed per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Associate Nursing Degree, minimum 1.5 years of CVICU experience (after orientation), ACLS, BLS certifications, minimum 0 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous CVICU experience; strong critical thinking skills.
• Additional Information: The unit has 8 beds with patient ratios of 2:1, with occasional 1:1. Equipment includes Impella, IABP, and CRRT. The Electronic Health Record system used is Cerner. Candidates should have a professional dress code, with any color scrubs acceptable. This is a contractor replacement position.
