Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) nurse opportunity in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position involves providing specialized critical care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and medical conditions. The unit welcomes first-time travelers and offers a dynamic environment with interdisciplinary support and a variety of complex patient cases.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift with 12 hours shift hours, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license, at least 2 years of clinical experience in ICU settings, certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Clinical Skills: Arterial line management, assisting with chest tube insertion/removal, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care, renal failure management, IV sedation, stroke management, CVVHD/CRRT, Impella, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV insulin protocols, management of multisystem organ failure, PICC line management, procedural sedation, sheath removal, starting/maintaining IVs, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Additional Information: Ability to float to similar critical care units such as Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Units (MSICU), Neuro Intensive Care Units, Burn Intensive Care Units if needed. Unit census is approximately 20 patients with a patient population including adults and geriatrics.
• Travel and licensing notes: Valid Oklahoma RN license required at the time of submission. Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted. Travelers will receive a brief orientation on the unit, and modules are completed onsite during orientation.
