Pay: $3,931.20 weekly

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Manager of the Clinical Resource Department for a 26-week assignment in Hyannis, MA. This is a rewarding contract opportunity for those with a strong background in acute care, case management, and InterQual systems. The role is centered within an acute care environment, providing comprehensive oversight and management of Case Management, Utilization Review, and Social Work teams.

Key Responsibilities of the Manager of the Clinical Resource Department
  • Manage day-to-day operations of case management and social services, including staff scheduling and performance evaluations
  • Conduct regular rounds on patient units to aid the discharge process
  • Develop and deliver ongoing education programs for Clinical Resource Management staff
  • Provide program education for new staff and allied health professionals related to discharge planning and utilization review
  • Track and trend program compliance, creating dashboards for process improvement
  • Mentor and develop collaborative practices within the clinical resource department
  • Analyze program metrics and stay informed on regulatory changes
  • Challenge current practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and support organizational culture

Requirements of the Manager of the Clinical Resource Department
  • Minimum 3 years acute care experience within the past 5 years
  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Master's degree preferred
  • Certification in Case Management or Clinical Documentation Integrity preferred
  • Experience with InterQual or equivalent system
  • Minimum 5 years case management experience in an acute setting
  • Experience in process improvement and professional education programs
  • Knowledge of CMS regulations and excellent computer skills
  • Management or supervisory experience preferred
