Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Manager of the Clinical Resource Department in Hyannis, MA. This travel assignment focuses on acute care and requires a talented leader experienced in case management and utilization review. The role involves overseeing daily operations, supporting staff, and enhancing patient care processes.

Key Responsibilities of the Manager of the Clinical Resource Department
  • Manage daily operations and clinical management of case management and social services programs.
  • Round on patient units to facilitate discharge processes and identify problem areas.
  • Develop and conduct ongoing education and process improvement for staff.
  • Provide program education for new staff and allied health professionals.
  • Track and trend program compliance, implement process improvements.
  • Mentor and coach in collaborative practices within the department.
  • Analyze program metrics using departmental systems.
  • Stay current with regulatory changes in case management.
  • Identify and present process improvement opportunities to management.

Requirements of the Manager of the Clinical Resource Department
  • Minimum of 3 years acute care experience in the past 5 years.
  • Working knowledge of InterQual or equivalent system.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license.
  • Certification in Case Management or Clinical Documentation Integrity preferred.
  • Two years experience in process improvement; 5 years in case management.
  • Experience in professional continuing education program development.
  • Knowledge of CMS regulations.
  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Windows software.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Management/supervisory experience preferred.
