Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Manager of the Clinical Resource Department with a focus on Case Management, Utilization Review, and Social Work. This travel assignment is suited for those with a management background, who thrive in a dynamic hospital environment overseeing clinical operations and staff development.

Key Responsibilities of the Manager of the Clinical Resource Department
  • Manage case management and social services program staff and workflows, including scheduling and performance evaluations
  • Conduct rounds on patient units to aid in discharge process facilitation
  • Develop and deliver continuing education programs for Clinical Resources Management staff
  • Provide program education for new staff across various departments
  • Track program compliance and implement process improvement activities
  • Mentor and coach for improved collaborative practices within the department
  • Analyze program metrics and stay informed on regulatory changes
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and present solutions to management

Requirements of the Manager of the Clinical Resource Department
  • Minimum of 3 years acute care experience within the past 5 years
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred
  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
  • Experience with InterQual or equivalent systems
  • Certification in Case Management or Clinical Documentation Integrity preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of Case Management experience in an acute setting
  • Experience in professional continuing education program development
  • Knowledge of CMS regulations
  • Strong computer and interpersonal skills
  • Management or supervisory experience preferred
