All care must be provided in accordance with current standards and regulations. The role ensures the optimal degree of quality care is maintained. This RN coordinates the interdisciplinary team to implement the established plan of patient care. Effective management of visit utilization and control of expenses is required. There may be opportunities to assist in agency-wide orientation and competency evaluations. This position may also involve providing consultation to clinical staff related to specific expertise. Skills required include care coordination, discharge planning, and disease management.
