Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Case Manager Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 1 License: Valid state nursing license required in-hand when applying. Certifications: All required certifications must be in-hand when applying. Must-Have: CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute required in-hand when applying. EPIC experience must be noted in work history. Two supervisor references required when applying. Description: The role involves case management in a hospital setting. Candidates should have acute hospital experience. Experience with admission criteria, care coordination, discharge planning, and needs assessment is essential. Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines is a must. Understanding of CMS regulations and DRG is necessary. Candidates should be comfortable with prior authorizations and orders for Durable Medical Equipment. The position requires variable scheduling, including weekends and the ability to float if necessary.
