The candidate must possess extensive experience utilizing InterQual criteria. The emergency department experiences high patient volume, so a resilient and experienced candidate is essential. The nurse will handle diverse patient age groups, including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily patient census averages 17 visits. The role may involve working in various inpatient areas, including medical/surgical, OB, NICU, critical care, and specialty areas like psych or emergency department. Academic work experience is necessary for applicants to qualify for this position. Candidate must hold a CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute in hand when applying. All required certifications must be available for verification upon application. References from two supervising individuals are mandatory during the application process.
