Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Conduct admission, continued stay, and retrospective reviews
- Evaluate medical necessity using InterQual & Milliman criteria
- Manage insurance appeals and denials
- Ensure compliance with CMS, HIPAA, CPT/ICD-10, DRG, HEDIS, and Joint Commission standards
- Document and report accurately in Epic or other charting systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with payers/patients
