Job Title: Case Manager Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Case Management Duration: Permanent Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1 year of experience required. License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Inpatient/Acute Care experience - Case Management experience - Epic experience Description: Candidates from any other facility are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months. One year of experience is required, and first-time travelers are accepted. Candidates may float to other campuses if census is low. Minimum of two weekend days per month coverage is required, typically not scheduled together. This position involves care coordination for neuro and cardiac patients. Candidates should have prior hospital experience. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with patient ratios of 18-25 is desired. The daily census is approximately 165 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. Candidates should have inpatient case management experience.
