The nurse will be responsible for care coordination and discharge planning. The candidate must have experience in a variety of case management settings, including Med Surg. Weekend work is required, with every other weekend expected. Candidates must have strong communication skills. The staff will work in all areas of the facility as needed. Experience in emergency department or critical care is a plus. Behavioral health experience does not count as acute care hospital experience. Certifications in BLS and an active RN license are required. The preferred candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment. Travelers must float to various units within their skill set. The ability to manage patient ratios effectively is essential. Candidates are expected to adhere to all safety and quality standards. A commitment to patient advocacy and care coordination is vital.
