Job Title: Case Manager RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Case Manager Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care case management experience required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: 6-12 months of acute care case management experience Willingness to work with adult and pediatric patients No locals accepted within a 100-mile radius Description: This position involves working as a Case Manager RN in an inpatient setting. The candidate will be responsible for managing the care of both adult and pediatric patients. Experience in an acute care setting is required. The weekly schedule consists of five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:25. Weekends may require shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. Floating within the scope to meet facility needs is expected. The facility is a Level I Trauma center. The candidate must complete COVID-19 vaccination requirements, with exemptions available for medical and religious reasons. The role involves patient diagnosis and care management services. Candidates must possess solid experience in a large hospital. Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred. This position is open to first-time travelers who meet all experience requirements. Travelers must be flexible and compliant with facility requirements.
