Assignment Details

  • Start Date: May 18, 2026
  • End Date: August 15, 2026
  • Schedule: 32 hours/week
  • Shift: Day Shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Case Manager to join a dynamic healthcare team at Anna Jaques Hospital. Case Managers play a critical role in coordinating patient care, ensuring appropriate utilization of services, and facilitating safe and effective discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate care for patients, families, and caregivers
  • Perform concurrent and retrospective utilization reviews
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical guidelines
  • Develop and implement safe discharge plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external agencies
  • Prevent denials through proper documentation and review processes
  • Use established criteria sets to support medical necessity

Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts RN License (Required)
  • BLS Certification (AHA) (Required)
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Strong background in case management and care coordination
  • Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months and in good standing
