Job Title: Case Manager RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Case Management Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day, 5x8 Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years required License: Must hold a valid MD license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Medical inpatient experience - Experience in outpatient clinic - Acute case management experience Description: The Case Manager RN will work Monday through Friday from 08:30 to 17:00. There is no on-call requirement, although the traveler may choose to pick up weekend shifts if desired. Holiday shifts may be required for Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. The RN may be required to float throughout various medical-surgical units as necessary. Candidates must have experience with care coordination, discharge planning, and needs assessment. Experience with ordering durable medical equipment (DME) is also necessary. Candidates must have completed at least one prior travel assignment. Compliance with regulatory standards, including CMS and HIPAA guidelines, is essential. The facility requires all employees to be vaccinated against influenza with no exemptions available.
