    Travel RN – Cardiovascular OR (CVOR), Days (4x10)

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days, 4x10 | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Onsite | Rotational call nights, weekends, and holidays required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for cardiothoracic surgical patients across all age groups
    • Perform scrub and/or circulating duties during open heart and thoracic procedures in a fast-paced cardiovascular OR environment
    • Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
    • Maintain professional accountability for patient care, patient rights, and confidentiality of patient information
    • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate care in conjunction with other departments
    • Perform duties consistent with established nursing practice guidelines, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, and applicable mission and values standards
    Required Qualifications
    • Current RN license; must be eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri
    • Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience
    • Demonstrated experience with open heart and thoracic procedures
    • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required for assignments running November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted
    • Demonstrated skill in human relations and communications; clinical expertise in area of responsibility required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with ECMO and/or Impella insertion
    • Robotic surgical assistance experience
    • Familiarity with Epic Optime EMR
