Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room in San Diego, CA

Participate in standby/call coverage, including 2 weekend shifts (24 hours) and 5 weekday call shifts per month, beginning at the end of the scheduled shift. Minimum 1 year of total travel nursing experience, including at least 6 months of continuous travel experience immediately preceding submittal.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• Assist with robotic cardiac surgical procedures
• Support general OR cases as needed in addition to cardiovascular specialty cases
• Participate in standby/call coverage, including 2 weekend shifts (24 hours) and 5 weekday call shifts per month, beginning at the end of the scheduled shift

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in California (Temporary or Permanent) required at time of submittal
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1.5 years of continuous CVOR experience
• Experience with robotic cardiac procedures
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months of work history
• Minimum 1 year of total travel nursing experience, including at least 6 months of continuous travel experience immediately preceding submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a general OR environment in addition to CVOR
• Supervisory-level professional reference available upon submission
