Schedule / Job TypeDirect Hire | Full-Time | Rotating Shift | Monday–Friday, 6:00/6:30 AM – 3:15 PM | On-Call Required (30-minute response time)
Key Responsibilities- Provide perioperative nursing care within a dedicated CVOR setting, supporting 3–6 cardiovascular cases per day across a high-volume surgical suite
- Circulate on a variety of cardiovascular and vascular procedures including CABG, valve replacements, carotid endarterectomies, fem-pop bypass, AAA repair, angiograms with endovascular intervention, and VATS
- Collaborate with surgical technologists and a CSFA within a team-based OR environment
- Maintain readiness for on-call assignments with a 30-minute response time requirement
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
- Adhere to hospital dress code; hospital-provided scrubs are supplied
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois or compact eligibility
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Prior CVOR nursing experience required
- Ability to work a rotating schedule with on-call responsibilities
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with a broad range of cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR documentation
- Ability to work effectively alongside surgical technologists and CSFAs in a fast-paced OR environment
