Registered Nurse – CVOR

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Monday through Friday with call requirements | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care as a circulating RN in a surgical environment handling 20–30 cases per day across multiple OR suites including a hybrid room
- Support a broad range of surgical cases including total joints, general surgery, spine, urology, and cardiovascular open heart procedures
- Maintain proficiency in both general OR and CVOR settings as dual skillset is required
- Participate in on-call rotation including weeknight, weekend, and holiday call coverage; call response time within 30 minutes
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient care coordination
- Occasional non-clinical float duties such as assisting with food trays or patient sitting; will not be floated to procedural areas such as Pre-Op or PACU
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of full-time OR/CVOR experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Demonstrated experience and competency in both general OR and CVOR settings
- Ability to accept call assignment after 1–2 weeks of orientation; call divided equally among staff in same role
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Familiarity with high-volume surgical environments and diverse case types including cardiovascular open heart procedures
