Key Responsibilities- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Perform scrub and/or circulating roles during cardiovascular operating room cases
- Monitor and document patient status throughout pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
- Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or compact licensure eligibility
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Hands-on experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on a day shift schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous travel nursing experience in a CVOR environment
- Familiarity with open-heart, valve repair/replacement, and bypass procedures
- CNOR certification or equivalent specialty certification
