Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (manager-assigned); on-call requirements apply
Key Responsibilities- Provide perioperative nursing care across a multi-suite OR environment covering general, orthopedic, gynecological, urological, spine, ENT, GI, and cardiovascular/vascular cases
- Support CVOR cases including CABG, vascular procedures (fem-pops, cut-downs, fistulas), and hybrid cases in collaboration with the cath lab
- Assist with C-sections in coordination with both L&D and main OR teams
- Participate in on-call rotations; CVOR RNs are expected to fulfill approximately 10–11 call shifts per month including every other weekend
- Collaborate with OR technicians and charge nursing staff to maintain efficient daily case flow averaging 15–24 cases per day
Required Qualifications- Active RN licensure in good standing
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience in an acute care setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Demonstrated ability to perform C-sections and scrub/circulate for orthopedic total joint cases
- Ability to respond to general OR call within 20 minutes
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous travel nursing experience with ability to acclimate quickly to a new environment
- Strong background in orthopedic total joint procedures
- Experience with cardiovascular/vascular OR cases including CABG and hybrid vascular procedures
