    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

    Location

    Fort Wayne, Indiana

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | On-Site | Call requirements: every 5th weekday and every 5th weekend

    Key Responsibilities
    • Circulate complex cardiovascular and thoracic cases including CABG, AVR, MVR, Ascending Aortic Aneurysm repair, and Aortic Root Replacements
    • Provide skilled circulating support for vascular procedures including Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repairs, Femoral-Popliteal Bypass, Carotid Endarterectomy, and AV Fistula
    • Assist with advanced device cases including Impella placement, Ventricular Assist Devices, and ECMO
    • Support open and robotic thoracic cases including Thoracotomy and Robotic Thoracotomy
    • Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio across 4 OR suites utilizing Cerner EMR
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) state license
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in cardiovascular OR nursing
    • Demonstrated ability to circulate cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases
    • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with robotic-assisted thoracic procedures
    • Familiarity with Cerner EMR in a surgical or perioperative setting
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a CVOR environment
